Teaching months using seasons of the year

Seasons - winter, spring, summer, autumn 

Process:

Introduce months vocabulary to students. Ask students questions: What month is your birthday? What date were you born on? e.g. You also can extend the lesson by focusing on birthdays and dates, such as 1^st , 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th e.g. So students can say: My birthday is on June 11^th.

Game Idea:

Beat the Clock - Play this game with any flashcards that have an order to them like alphabet, numbers, days of the week, months, etc. Time the students as they race to put them in order. Have them try again to see if they can beat their fastest time.
